An Epic Historical that seems ripped from the big screen. It's tricky to balance making a video for something as visual as this, without it taking away from Nickie's excellent writing. The focus here was to intice a reader's desire for the deep, historical, romance-adventure-intrigue novel. I think it all blends well together, focusing on some landscapes, single-word highlights, and a glossy overview of the epic proportions this novel entails.

Shelby's variety of unique settings and characters, along with excellent reviews, made this video shift easily from one segment to the next. The end result is an author video that will raise eyebrows, and entice a reader to visit her site to learn more about these amazingly-reviewed books.
Leslie Ann Dennis - Reason to Believe

Leslie's story had multiple elements that created an easy visual cue. Note the graphic effects using simple stock photos to simulate movement in the beginning, and focus on the story by overlaying photos with the text while keeping the reader trained on the blurb.
